14  Dog took the cigarette out of his mouth and he and Duck sat down. “Well ” said Cat, “My Nan started smoking when she was about your age Dog. She thought it was cool and back in those days they didn’t know how dangerous smoking was. She smoked for quite a while before anything bad happened but, eventually, it did. It started with her getting bad coughs, so bad that she had to take medicine given to her by her doctor. She ignored him when he said it was best to give up and just carried on smoking. She thought she would be lucky and nothing worse would happen to her, but she was wrong.
