Classroom Equality Resources

Equality is an issue that has been flagged to us at the DDCT a number of times over the last term, so we decided to act.

We have created many resources on equality but have now put them all in one place for you, so you can access them easily and see the linkage between them. The resources are:

  • Key Stage 1 – Choices, Choices, Choices
  • Lower Key Stage 2 – The ERF (Equality, Responsibility and Friendship) Project
  • Upper Key Stage 2 – Ant and Us; What is Equality?

All resources have been created by an experienced, qualified and passionate team, but more importantly everything has been extensively piloted with schools and their pupils. This ensures that the DDCT resources are fit for purpose and meet the outcomes they are designed to, supporting children's personal development, safety and wellbeing.

Accessing The DDCT Resources

As a charity, The Dog, Duck and Cat Trust try to make access to our resources as affordable as possible to schools and teachers. For any individual school or setting that would like to access to all of the Trust’s resources it's very simple:

  • We ask for a minimum annual donation of £149 from individual schools, which we then use to fund the development of new resources and cover our running costs (you can donate more if you’d like!).
  • This donation gives individual schools access to our full programme and resources for 12 months; this also includes any new resources developed in that time as well - click here to register your interest
