Weasel's Friends

13 12 Cat knew she needed to say something. She knew Grass Snake and Toad needed some help, so she was going to be brave and try and give them some advice. Cat wanted to make sure she got this just right, so she checked some facts with Grass Snake and Toad. ‘So’ Cat said to Grass Snake. ‘Weasel says to you that he will not be your friend unless you do what he wants?’ ‘Yes’ said Grass Snake. Cat then turned to Toad and said, ‘He says to you that he will not be your friend unless you do what he wants?’ ‘Yes’ said Toad. ‘Well’ said Cat, ‘Why don’t you BOTH say to Weasel he cannot be both of YOUR friends unless he stops telling you what to do and being so mean and nasty, to you and other animals. There are two of you, and only one of him, so you could leave him out. That way you wouldn’t be alone, and you would not be used and bullied by him anymore either! Just remember, if you both stick together, he cannot leave one of you out, you can both CHOOSE to leave HIM out!’
